Center for Informatics Science (CIS)

The Center for Informatics Science (CIS) is dedicated to applied informatics research focusing on the research and development of novel software methods for the management and interpretation of scientific information. The center’s research agenda aims to encompass the application of information technology in a number of areas of national importance to Egypt and impact on the Egyptian society, including health, agriculture and environment. CIS also aims to be interdisciplinary, both within NU, by recruiting members for different programs, schools, and specialties, and outside NU, by connecting to other institutes of the common areas of interest.
